The duo discussed loan products and services, including our Holiday Loan Special. We are proud to have been able to provide a record number of holiday loans in 2019!

Wambli Ska Drum & Dance Society
Wambli Ska Drum & Dance Society has been providing an opportunity for youth to learn traditional drumming and singing, as well as weekly dance practices. Many of the children have gone on to be champion dancers and leaders in the community.

BHCLF Collaborated with the Department of Diversity, Equity, & Outreach of the Rapid City Area Schools District.
A major milestone for our team has been to collaborate with persons like Whitnee Pearce. As Director of the Department of Diversity, Equity, & Outreach, Pearce has provide BHCLF with an opportunity to bring financial literacy and the need to understand why credit matters to Native American Youth in Rapid City.
Pearce has supported our programs and has become a partner in bringing The Spending Frenzy Game Night and the Business Plan Competition to middle and high school students. We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity.
BHCLF has Partnered with America Indian Business Leaders (OLC AIBL Chapter)
Business students at Oglala Lakota College in Rapid City, who are members of the OLC AIBL Chapter, have come on board to assist in our programs and events. These student leaders are needed assets in the Business Plan Competition and The Spending Frenzy Game Night.
This partnership will continue for many more years to come, and we look forward to watching them grow and succeed in their future endeavors.
BHCLF has a Team of Experts who Continue to Teach Classes on Financial Education
Our team reaches deep into the community of Rapid City and the surrounding area to bring financial literacy and sound money management skills to individuals to improve their circumstances. We win by helping others succeed.
The Building Native Communities: Financial Skills for Families, Pathways to Home Ownership, and Indianprenneurship classes we teach are preparing individuals for home ownership and entrepreneurship. Each curriculum are Nativecentric, designed to make the subject of financial education relatable to our Native community members.
BHCLF has Attended Several Events in Support of Others
Our team was able to attend the10th Annual Women's Business Conference in Spearfish, SD on October 18, 2019. This event was inspiring and the networking was phenomenal. We look forward to attending many more events in coming years.
